My little bro Brendan graduated from Stanford this past spring after 5 successful years running XC and track for the Cardinal. He's since joined the ranks of post-collegians who continue to train and compete in pursuit of big running dreams. A 5k/10k specialist in college, Brendan plans to tackle the roads and at some point move up to the marathon.
In his first pro race last weekend, Brendan took home 2nd place (and a nice $100 paycheck!) in the Golden Gate Park Open. In the women's race, I finished 2nd as well, so it was a good day all around for the Gregg family!
Today, Brendan is on the front page of Flotrack in an interview by our friend Kevin Selby. Take a look! Brendan and two of his college teammates, JT Sullivan and Elliott Heath, travel to Japan this week to race in the Ekiden Relay. Call me a proud big sister, but look for big things from Brendan in the months and years to come!
