Running Joyfully Elite
Running Joyfully supports the dreamers - the athletes chasing those daring, audacious, scary-but-exciting goals, on the run and beyond. If you aspire to compete at the Olympic Trials, break the tape in races, and be amongst the top runners in the United States and the world, Running Joyfully is here to help you get there!
Pursuing Big Goals On the Run and Beyond!
Running Joyfully Elite athletes are chasing big goals - in running, in their careers, and with family. Our athletes are running fast times and breaking finish line tapes while going to medical school, working in public health, teaching the next generation, addressing climate change, conducting research, treating chronic disease, and providing legal aid to immigrants. Many of our athletes are moms, showing their children the importance of running down big dreams. This inspiring crew of women are doing it ALL! We applaud, celebrate, and support their pursuit of multiple goals simultaneously while keeping JOY at the forefront.

Kaitlin Goodman, Head Coach of Running Joyfully Elite
Coach Kaitlin Goodman was a dreamer - after graduating college, she wasn’t quite ready to hang up her track spikes and she knew her running days were far from over. Her Olympic-sized dreams led her to keep training to chase an Olympic Trials qualifier - all while working in health promotion and going to grad school. In 2014, she earned her first OTQ and she went on to compete in 4 Olympic Trials (5,000 meters, 10,000 meters, and the marathon x 2). Kaitlin believes you can simultaneously pursue multiple goals - big running goals as well as career and family goals - and she’s here to support you in doing so!
As a former pro runner, Coach Kaitlin is well-versed in the elite running scene and knows what it takes to compete with America’s best. Kaitlin has represented Team USA in cross country, competed in the pro fields at the Boston and NYC Marathons, and has earned top-10 finishes on the USA Track & Field Road Racing circuit. As a coach, she has supported multiple athletes racing at the 2020 and 2024 US Olympic Marathon Trials and has coached dozens of sub-2:40, sub-2:50, and sub-3:00 marathoners.
With a decade of pro running under her belt and over a decade of coaching emerging elites and aspiring pros, she’s excited to support YOU in dreaming big, on the run and beyond!
