As your coach, here's my commitment to you:

I will listen.
I’ll listen to you to help craft the best plan for you, as an individual. What one person needs might be different for another - so I’ll take note of your needs and desires. By the same token, for our coach/athlete relationship to be successful, I’ll ask you to communicate - share with me if you’re feeling any aches or pains, let me know if there are stressors in your life that might impact your running. Coaching is a collaboration and a partnership - with strong, open communication, we’ll work together to help you achieve your goals. 

I will hold you accountable.
Sometimes, you need a little kick in the butt to get you out the door - it can be difficult to be self-motivated after a long day at work or taking care of the kids. As your coach, I'm here to hold you accountable and can serve as an extrinsic motivator to get the work done.

I will support and encourage you.
I'm here to root you on! As your coach and one of your biggest cheerleaders, I'm a built-in support system. Maybe your schedule is such that you can’t meet up with running buddies - think of me as your virtual running buddy, voicing encouraging words (and occasional nudges when you need them!) to keep you on track to reach your goals.

As your coach, I'm committed to helping you set and reach your goals, supporting you when you're having a tough time in training, giving you that kick in the butt when you need it, and most importantly celebrating your success with you! I can't wait to help you run joyfully toward your goals!
